The best available information is used to determine if the address is within the District boundary and what school a student should attend. If an address is not represented accurately, District Administration will make the final determination if the address is within the District boundary and what school a student should attend.
1. I live far enough away from the school, why does the locator say we are ineligible for bussing?
Bussing eligibility is based on the District defined or State defined distance from the school facility. This distance is measured from the School’s front door (or flagpole) to the end of the driveway using the shortest distance by the public street network. Please contact the District if you feel you should be eligible.
2. Why is the locator placing my address in the wrong location?
RSP uses several ways to find the address that has been entered. Reasons can include: address is misspelled, the county/Esri address point layers may not yet have that address in the data, you may need to add the N,S,E,W directional element to get the correct location, or you may need omit apartment or unit number.
